India Names Its Thirty Member Squad For The Icc Champions Trophy 2009
Indian selectors named the thirty member squad for the Icc Champions Trophy which is to be held in the month of September and October 2009.The surprise inclusion for the ICC Champions Trophy was Test Player and Former ODI Player Rahul Dravid and the Surprise exclusion was that of Al rounder Irfan Pathan.Many Youngsters who played in the IPL 2009 have been included in the 30 member squad they are Rahane,Saha and Vijay of Tamil Nadu.India will be hoping for a better performance in the ICC Champions Trophy being their poor performance in the ICC Twenty-Twenty World Cup 2009.Sree Santh also excluded from the Icc Champions Trophy because he did not prove his fitness.
